Cobalt Energy Secures Five-Year Contract Extension for Hanford Energy Recovery Facility

Cobalt Energy, through SPV North Midlands Operations Limited are set to Operate the Hanford ERF for Stoke-on-Trent City Council!

We’re proud to announce that North Midlands Operations Limited (NMOL), a company of the Cobalt Energy Group, has been awarded the new Operations & Maintenance (O&M) contract for the Hanford Energy Recovery Facility (ERF), extending NMOL’s current O&M position for another five years.

Over the last 2 1/2 years, we’ve successfully delivered O&M services for the efficient and continuous operation of the Hanford ERF, and we’re pleased to support the Council with their long-term waste treatment strategy. This contract award is a testament to the expertise, commitment, and hard work of our team in delivering safe, efficient, and reliable operations.

We look forward to building on this relationship, to further extend the operational life of this aging asset and delivering continued value for the Stoke-on-Trent City Council and the local community.
