Cobalt Energy is owned by Cobalt Energy Holdings Limited, which has three main subsidiary companies each offering specialist services. CEL provides consulting and bespoke engineering services, CEPSL offers project delivery services for larger projects, including bespoke work packages, EPC, and EPCM delivery, while CEOSL is itself a holding company for the operational SPVs which we manage.

Cobalt Energy has a dedicated sustainability team who look at ways in which we can monitor and reduce our greenhouse gas emissions. This initiative is an ongoing effort, with continuous improvements being made. Our staff have been trained in carbon accounting, and we’ve implemented measures to encourage sustainable travel and business practices.
As we grow, Cobalt Energy Group is committed to embedding sustainable practices across the organisation. Since beginning our carbon accounting journey in 2022, we’ve introduced various initiatives to cut emissions. We’re now evolving our business model, policies, and strategic targets to integrate the three fundamental ESG areas into our core operations.

Our QHSE department provides H&S support across the Group and particularly for the operating companies and construction projects. The department also provides support to ensure Environmental and Permit compliance for the operating companies, including applications for new permits, permit variations and transfers.
Environmental compliance and protection are deeply ingrained in our culture. We offer client review and audit services for improvement and compliance.
Our quality system affects all business areas, ensuring compliance and continual improvement through active internal audits.
The safety culture within the Group is of paramount importance to the Board, and one of the primary functions of the QHSE department is to foster and maintain the right safety culture.
