Waste to Energy
Cobalt Energy has extensive experience in the Waste to Energy market, having led the development and build of several projects in the UK. We operate and maintain Waste to Energy plants for municipal and commercial clients and provide a full range of technical engineering support services to EfW plants, including conventional grates, gasification and pyrolysis plants
Biomass
Biomass projects are closely related to Waste to Energy and the skills learned in waste are readily translatable. Cobalt has extensive knowledge and experience in the biomass sector, having provided engineering support to several facilities increasing availability and output. Cobalt also operates biomass facilities for our clients. Our experience includes both conventional combustion and gasification processes.
Anaerobic Digestion
Anaerobic digestion is an increasingly important method of treatment for organic wastes. Cobalt Energy has the skills and knowledge to deliver and optimise AD projects ensuring the most efficient use of resources and returns for the funders, investors and owners of the project.
Battery Energy Storage Systems
Cobalt Energy employs highly skilled electrical and contract engineers. We provide technical services to BESS projects, including advice on grid connections and private wire arrangements through to technical due diligence and Owners Engineer/Lenders Engineer services.
